Job Description:

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE
You will be delivering excellent front line customer service experiences by providing information and assistance to theatre patrons. You will be monitoring and providing crowd control; ushering patrons to their seats; ensuring their safety; and making sure that house rules are being followed. In addition, you will be providing support in the concession area by selling merchandise and reconciling cash at the end of the shift.

You are a team player with the ability to take direction and enjoy working with a diverse group of people. You are reliable, responsive to customer needs and excellent at building relationships and put a high value community service. You are courteous and effective with the public in providing information and assistance regarding our theatre programs, activities and community events. You are able to make sound judgment calls and are able to respond quickly, calmly and efficiently to a variety of situations. You enjoy working with high customer volumes in a short time span. You embrace change and challenges.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Preferred candidates will have LCB Serving It Right certification to provide support in the concession and bar area. This is not required for usher or ticket taker. First Aid certificate will be an asset.

Previous customer service training and experience is preferred along with cash handling and event and/or theatre experience.

All candidates are required to submit a Police Information Check and References as a requirement of the position prior to any appointment.

Remuneration:

The pay for this auxiliary position starts at $22.44 per hour and ranges to $26.18 per hour, plus 12% in lieu of benefits.
