Call for Artists Description:

North Van Arts is currently accepting submissions for artwork to be included in the exhibition CLEAN SLATE, which will take place in our CityScape Community ArtSpace gallery in January of 2025.

To begin something with a clean slate is to clear away evidence of the past so that one can attempt to make a fresh start. This exhibition will consider both the challenges and opportunities that arise when one is faced with a blank canvas.

We are looking for artworks with themes surrounding new beginnings, replacement plans, and resolutions for the year ahead. We encourage local artists to step forward into 2025 with North Van Arts and submit artwork that reflects the results of forgiving, forgetting, and trying again.

The deadline to submit artwork is December 6, 2024. More information about submission guidelines can be found on our website.

Fees/Compensation:

This call for artwork is free to submit to. Please note that North Van Arts does not pay artist fees for exhibiting artwork. All artwork exhibited in CLEAN SLATE must be available for sale.
