CRD Arts & Culture Grants Open for Applications
/CRD (Capital Regional District) Arts & Culture is currently accepting applications for its Project, IDEA, Equity and Incubator grants, with deadlines this Spring.
Projects, Series and Extended Programming Grants support arts organizations in producing or presenting one-time, recurring, unique or developmental projects, including short series of events or extended programming within a year. There are two intakes each year, with deadlines in January and April. The deadline is April 1, 2022, at 4:30 p.m. PST.
IDEA (Innovate, Develop, Experiment, Access) Grants encourage new, innovative or developmental arts projects and events by non-arts mandated organizations. The deadline is March 19, 2022, at 4:30 p.m. PST.
Equity Grants support arts initiatives by applicants from communities at risk of exclusion or that have difficulty accessing support for systemic reasons. Supported activities include, but are not limited to, support of artistic growth, development, production and dissemination. Apply by March 15, 2022, at 4:30 p.m. PST.
Incubator Grants enhance sustainability and resiliency in the arts by funding short term staffing, mentoring, workspace, training or other resources that assist in the acceleration of organizational development or in the development of new arts projects.
In particular, the program is aimed at emerging organizations that are engaged in innovative, experimental or new artistic practices, or that have difficulty accessing startup funding or specialized expertise that will help to advance their practice. Apply by March 17, 2022 at 4:30pm
