The Select Standing Committee on Finance and Government Services invites British Columbians to share their ideas and priorities for the next provincial budget. New financial support for creative industries was announced by the province on Wednesday, April 19.

Up to $10,000 is available to support all successful projects annually through the Yosef Wosk Publication Grant.

Does your arts and culture organization need a well-equipped venue to produce a cultural event?

The Theatre Rental Grant (TRG) program offers financial assistance to Vancouver-based, professional, non-profit arts and cultural organizations to rent the centrally-located Vancouver Civic Theatres. 

Local arts and culture organizations can now apply for Metro Vancouver’s 2023 regional cultural grants.

CASC supports eligible organizations with grants ranging from $2,500 up to $20,000 for projects that include a wide range of short-term, one-time, or limited series arts, cultural, & creative projects.

The Province is providing $30 million to support B.C.-based events in response to calls from the sector for more help. The B.C. Fairs, Festivals and Events Fund(the BCFFE Fund) provides a one-time grant for up to 20% of your total event budget, up to a maximum of $250,000 per event. Depending on uptake, grant amounts may exceed 20% of the event budget.

$2,500 per person is available right now for performing arts professionals in Canada.  

If your organization is in the greater Victoria area, it may be eligible for a CRD Arts & Culture grant.

The Music Industry Initiatives program supports initiatives that grow and develop British Columbia’s music ecosystem.
