Launch date announced for Community Service Recovery Fund

Following sustained advocacy from the nonprofit sector, the government announced the creation of the Community Service Recovery Fund in 2021.

This $400 million investment will help organizations adapt services, buy technology, develop new ways of working, support the wellbeing of staff, and develop plans to diversify income streams.

Applications for the funding are expected to launch on Jan. 6, 2023.

United Way, Community Foundations Canada and the Red Cross will deliver the funding.
