Read MoreThe Cultural Human Resource Council (CHRC) is pleased to announce that a new Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Accessibility (IDEA) tool is now available to the cultural sector.
The City is collecting feedback on the 889 Drake St. (formerly 1290 Hornby St.) development application.
This development proposal includes a ~13,000 sq. ft. cultural amenity space. The proposed cultural amenity will be delivered to the City and includes 2 floors of dedicated arts and culture presentation (visual or media arts) and shared artist production space. At a later date, the City will seek to select a non-profit arts and culture operator for the facility.
This week, we'd like to announce a new collaboration between the BC Alliance for Arts + Culture and The Bandish Network. The Bandish Network provides industry support, engagement, representation and advocacy for the pan-Indus Valley community of presenters, artists, cultural workers and organizations.

These grants aim to support short-term, one-time, or limited series arts, cultural, and creative projects by providing up to $20,000 in funding. The City is looking for creative people, projects, and organizations who’s work contributes to Vancouver’s diverse creative stories.
