Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Lisa Beare Recovering from Heart Surgery

The Honourable Lisa Beare, Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture

The Honourable Lisa Beare, Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, underwent surgery last week for an unspecified heart condition, Premier John Horgan revealed April 9. Minister Beare is expected to make a full recovery.

“I know our colleagues on both sides of the legislature join me in wishing Minister Beare a speedy recovery,” said Premier Horgan. “We send her and her family our very best wishes, and look forward to seeing her return very soon.”

While she recovers, Minister Beare will be absent from the legislature for an indefinite period of time.
