The BC Alliance Has Partnered with Grant Advance to Make Getting Grants Easier

The BC Alliance for Arts + Culture has partnered with Grant Advance to offer free licenses to ten selected BC Alliance members who are small organizations. We're also offering members a group discount for Grant Advance plans. Lastly, join us May 2 for a free info session on foundation funding. Check below for information on each of these exciting initiatives.

Grant Advance offers solutions and services to help you find and apply for the funding your organization needs. It shows you where to apply, how much you should ask for, and then provides automated assistance to prepare and merge all your documents for a seamless and simple solution to any of your grant funding needs.

Free Licence Giveaway for Small Organizations

The BC Alliance has worked together with Grant Advance to give your small organization the opportunity to access these services, free of charge. In order to qualify, you must be a BC Alliance member whose annual budget is under $150,000. For your chance at a free Grant Advance licence, email Joyce Wan (joyce@allianceforarts.com) with the subject line 'Grant Advance'. Please include your name, organization, and contact information. Please note that most foundations accept requests from registered charities only.

You have until 12:00 p.m. on April 20 to enter. That afternoon, we will conduct a random draw from all eligible entrants, and the ten lucky winners will receive a free Grant Advance Professional licence, with no monthly fees. It's that easy.

Free Info Session: 'Foundation Funding for Arts Organizations'

But wait, there's more! The BC Alliance for Arts + Culture partners with Grant Advance Solutions to host a free information session on foundation funding for arts organizations on Wednesday, May 2, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Private foundations award billions of dollars per year to charities and non-profits in Canada — money that you could easily miss out on if you aren't in the know. The two-hour workshop will focus on the foundations that support arts organizations in BC, industry-standard document preparation (Letters of Inquiry and Applications), establishing key funding partnerships, and the development of strategic annual grant funding campaigns.

This session is open to all attendees (no familiarity with Grant Advance is needed), but please register online to attend. You can register to attend this info session at our Workshops page here.

If you're outside the Lower Mainland, or are otherwise unable to attend these workshops in person, watch and submit your questions from where you are with live online access. To join us digitally, select the Livestream option from the registration form. You will be emailed a link to the video. If you have any questions about livestreaming, contact Joyce Wan, administrative assistant, at 604 681 3535 (201) or joyce@allianceforarts.com.

We are proud to offer ASL interpretation at all of our workshops and information sessions. Please indicate on the registration form whether you will require ASL interpretation.
