Patrick Street Productions Welcomes New General Manager
/Patrick Street Productions (PSP) has welcomed the organization's first general manager, Tammy Hampel.
Tammy's work as an arts administrator spans many years, with experience in theatre, dance, opera, and festivals. She has worked as general manager of Creative City Network of Canada, Pi Theatre, and Alberta Opera, and is the owner of Canopy Arts administration services, specializing in providing support to arts and culture non-profit organizations. Tammy also serves as the Alliance for Arts + Culture's board president.
"Since PSP began we have found that our artistic vision has consistently reached beyond our capacity. To that end it has been clear that for our company to flourish and grow we needed to enlist a general manager. But we didn't want just anyone..." said PSP artistic producers Peter Jorgensen and Katey Wright. "As with our shows, we were just as picky when it came to finding the best choice for PSP. So we were utterly thrilled to bring Tammy on board and look forward to growing our company with her."
