Alliance Winter Workshop: Foundations of Strategic Planning
/THE WORKSHOP
Foundations of Strategic Planning
An Introduction for Arts Organizations
This half-day workshop is designed for managers and board members who wish to build their understanding of the strategic planning process, particularly as it applies to a non-profit arts organization.
The session will introduce important components of a multi-year strategic plan and some options and approaches for its successful development in various circumstances based on the complexity of an organization, its budgets and timelines. At the end of the session, participants will know what successful strategic planning may look like for their own organizations, and what additional resources are available to support those driving the process.

Rob Gloor brings over 20 years of experience in non-profit arts management to his role as Executive Director of the Alliance for Arts + Culture. He holds university degrees in both music and business and has worked with organizations of all sizes in Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia.
