City of Vancouver Offers Professional Development Opportunities With Vantage Point
/Arts and cultural organizations currently assisted by the City of Vancouver through grants or who are primary tenants of City-owned or controlled spaces may be eligible for several learning opportunities with Vantage Point at no cost.
A partnership between Cultural Services and Vantage Point provides access to workshops, labs, and other learning opportunities, at no charge, to staff and board members of arts and cultural organizations. Workshops and advanced learning labs are available in the areas of board and staff leadership development, strategic planning, the non-profit lifecycle and customized opportunities as needed.

Organizations may participate in up to four workshops (four seats) as well as a lab each year. Additional offerings may be available on a case-by-case basis.
Registration for workshops is on a first come/first serve basis, while candidates for labs are selected through a simple application process.
Organizations can take advantage of this additional assistance offered by the City of Vancouver and register for one of many upcoming learning opportunities:
- Leaders Lab – submission deadline Aug. 28
- Governance Lab – submission deadline Sept. 26
- Several workshops starting in September
