NEWS: Spring Grants Available for Port Coquitlam Arts Groups

Community Cultural Development Investment Program

Deadline April 30, 2010 

Port Coquitlam, BC - The Community Cultural Development Investment Program is accepting applications for funding from arts, culture and heritage organizations and individual artists developing a new project with an arts or cultural focus in Port Coquitlam.  Organizations/ individuals must be based in Port Coquitlam or have a national/regional mandate that includes Port Coquitlam.  The three categories funded are: 1. Organization   2. Project   3. Development.  Maximum funding is 50% per project up to $2500 and $5000 per year to one group and up to 25% of annual budget for established organizations applying for operating assistance.  Further details on eligibility and criteria are available on www.portcoquitlam.ca/arts in the CCD Investment tab. 

 

The CCD Investment Program was set up to enhance community cultural development in a growing City and support quality arts, heritage and cultural activities that enhance the quality of life for residents.  It provides opportunities for artists and community groups; collaborations between business and the arts; celebrates heritage and animates public places.  Through this Program we hope to provide support to the artistic community.  The next grant intake will be in the fall with a deadline in September.
