City of Vancouver Seeks Input for Budget

To aid in developing the 2015 annual budget, the City of Vancouver is conducting an online questionnaire to gather feedback about its services and programs that are most important to the public, and you’re invited to have your say. 

While there is little reference to arts and culture in the survey questions, there is an opportunity to provide additional feedback concerning priorities that you think are important but have not been listed. The Alliance encourages respondents to contribute your comments to the questionnaire to help raise the profile of arts and culture as a budget priority. 

Among the 11 largest cities in Canada, Vancouver has the highest concentration of cultural workers and the second-highest concentration of artists. Our city is home to about one-third of all BC artists. Make sure that your voice is heard!
