ArtStarts in Schools Opens Applications for Creative Spark Vancouver Grants

In partnership with the City of Vancouver, ArtStarts in Schools offers the Creative Spark Vancouver Grant to provide emerging artists with financial resources ($3000 for individuals and $5000 for groups and art collectives) towards small projects.
Emerging artists of all disciplines residing in Vancouver, as well as members of the Musqueam, Squamish, or Tsleil-Waututh Nations, with an interest in building a career working with young people in an arts-based capacity are highly encouraged to apply for Creative Spark Vancouver.
This grant is designed for you if you:
are an emerging artist looking to explore career opportunities;
are interested in working with young people (ages 5-18) and need support to start; and/or
have a project idea, but don't have the funds to cover the required materials and supplies.
Creative Spark Vancouver is an excellent opportunity for emerging artists to gain experience on small projects with the potential to develop new career opportunities, new community relationships, new insights on arts and education, future learning opportunities and exciting, multi-faceted projects.
