First Peoples' Cultural Council Opens Grant Applications

The First Peoples' Cultural Council offers arts funding through the Aboriginal Arts Development Awards in four categories:

• Individual Artists 

• Sharing Traditional Arts Across Generations 

• Organizations and Collectives 

• Aboriginal Arts Administrator Internships 

The First Peoples' Cultural Council offers arts funding through the Aboriginal Youth Engaged in the Arts in one category:

• Aboriginal Youth Engaged in the Arts

Please note: For the purposes of this program, the term “Aboriginal artists” includes status, non-status, Métis and/or Inuit 

The First Peoples' Cultural Council offers music industry funding through the Indigenous Music Initiative in two categories:

• Emerging Music Industry Professional 

• Expanding Capacity in the Indigenous Music Recording Industry
