Let’s Talk Digital: Open session on Canada Council for the Arts’ Digital Strategy Fund

Last week, the Canada Council for the Arts broadcasted three Facebook Live video information sessions about its $88.5 million Digital Strategy Fund. The fund supports artists and arts organizations to develop digital initiatives and is divided into three components, which were explained in the live video sessions. The three sessions, which are archived on Facebook, outline ways the funds will assist initiatives that support 1) Digital Literacy and Intelligence; 2) Public Access to the Arts and Citizen Engagement; and 3) Transformation of Organizational Models. More information on all three components can be found here.

The staff at BC Alliance for Arts + Culture viewed all three sessions. We are inspired, curious, and interested in facilitating one of the Digital Strategy Fund’s goals: to bring together artists and organizations to develop joint or networked projects.
