Applications for Community Gaming Grants Open August 1
/The following information is excerpted from a call for submissions issued by the Province.
Applications for the Province of British Columbia's Community Gaming Grants will be open from August 1 to September 30. The Community Gaming Grants program distributes $5 million per year to capital projects with a total cost of more than $20,000 undertaken by eligible not-for-profit organizations. The maximum amount is $250,000 with maximum 50% matching.
Eligible Capital Projects
- Facilities: construction, renovation or maintenance of facilities.
- Community Infrastructure: public amenities such as docks, parks or playgrounds.
- Acquisitions: the purchase of fixed capital assets for long-term use, including vehicles.
