City of Surrey Updates: Cultural Grants Program Review and PRC Ideas Fairs
/The following information is excerpted from a release issued by the City of Surrey.
For the past five years, the City of Surrey's, Cultural Grants Program has experienced significant growth. Since inception, the amount of available funding has increased by more than 300%, and the value of grants dispersed has risen by more than 131%.
In order to ensure that the Program continues to meet the needs of the arts and cultural sector, the City will be implementing a Program Review in the coming year. The review will evaluate the current state of the Program and establish appropriate recommendations to guide the next phase. You will have a chance to participate in the review, as the City will be reaching out to current and past recipients to provide their ideas and feedback.
Stay tuned for information as it emerges!
The City of Surrey is also updating its Parks, Recreation & Culture (PRC) Strategic Plan, and is requesting public input. Over the next 10 years, this new plan will shape the future of Surrey's communities, facilities, and services.
