Staff Changes at the Alliance (We're Hiring!)

Amanda Peters

Amanda Peters

The BC Alliance for Arts + Culture is saying farewell soon to our Director of Communications, Amanda Peters. We will all miss her greatly, but are happy and excited for her as she begins the next stage of her career. Please see below for a message from executive director Brenda Leadlay:

"Amanda Peters, our Director of Communications, is leaving the Alliance after 5+ years of exemplary service to take up the position of Director of Audience Engagement at the Kay Meek Centre in West Vancouver. She has contributed significantly to the evolution of the Alliance, stewarding the launch of our new brand and website in 2015, expanding our resources, and growing our membership base. Her management of our online communications resulted in a 900% increase in website traffic and in 2016, earned us a top ten ranking among the world’s best arts and culture blogs.

Many of you will remember her from the BC Cultural Roundtable consultations and her work on the Mayor’s Arts Awards. Her achievements are many and I know I speak for all of the Alliance staff when I say that we wish her much success in her new endeavor. She will truly be missed!"

The Alliance is now seeking to fill the position that Amanda will vacate. If you have the skills and savvy to be our new Director of Communications, please see the job posting here
