Applications Open for 2017-2018 Aboriginal Languages Initiative

The First Peoples' Cultural Council's Aboriginal Languages Initiative (ALI) Program is now accepting applications for the 2017-2018 program year. The ALI supports the preservation and revitalization of Indigenous languages through community-based projects and activities that include documentation and immersion strategies.

Eligible strategies include participatory (language immersion) programming and resource development (archiving or documentation).

Application Deadline

December 13, 2016 at 4:30 p.m. 

Applications must be received in hard copy by FPCC on or before the deadline date. Post-marked applications with the deadline date will be accepted from isolated communities.
