BC Arts Council Announces Vancouver & Surrey Dates of Community Consultation & Program Review

Dates for the BC Arts Council's community consultation sessions in Vancouver, Surrey, and Chilliwack have been announced and registration is now open. 

The BC Arts Council announced in September that it would be undertaking a review of Capacity and Sustainability, Innovations and Operating Assistance programs, and invited the public to participate via community consultation meetings. 

Vancouver sessions will take place on:

• October 28, 3:30-5:30 p.m. at the Native Education Centre (285 East 5th Avenue)
• October 30, 9:30-11:30 a.m. at The O’Brian Centre for Vancouver Opera (1945 McLean Drive)

Sessions will be held in Surrey and Chillwack on October 29. if convenient, attendees from the region are encouraged to consider attending in those communities in order to balance the demand and limited capacity for the Vancouver sessions.

• Surrey – 10 a.m.-noon at the Surrey Arts Centre (13740 88 Avenue)
• Chilliwack – 2-4 p.m. at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre (9201 Corbould Street)
