Supervisors in Performing Arts: Safety is No. 1

Actsafe  still has some available seats for their May 7 Performing Arts Supervisor Safety course, cover such issues as:

  • What do you need to know to protect your crew?
  • Who is a supervisor and why does it matter?
  • Have you moved from production or admin into managing and supervising?
  • Do you know what your legal responsibilities are with regard to health and safety?

In just three hours Actsafe can get you up-to-speed on the topics. The course explains what the law is and how it can come back and bite you if you don’t understand your responsibilities!

Here’s what some of your colleagues said about the course:

“Fantastic reminders of the overall common sense safety briefings with crew, contractors…”

“The course helped overall as I had no previous supervisor training; now I know what I did not know!…”

“Excellent!”

Space is available in our Performing Arts Supervisor Safety course, Monday May 7 from 1-4 p.m.

Cost: $25

Participants will receive swag and snacks.

Actsafe is now located in downtown Vancouver, with easy access to public transit and convenient parking in the Vancouver Public Library.
