Wellness Benefit For Chris Adkins

Arts community beloved friend and colleague, Chris Adkins, has been waging a year-long battle with cancer. Friends are holding a celebratory fundraiser for Chris in order to raise money to support him in whatever ways he wants as he continues to undergo the extensive medical treatments he has ahead of him.

Tickets are $25 and are on sale online now. 

The event will feature a screening of the film Distant Voices, Still Lives, a silent and live auction (featuring tickets, gift baskets, event passes getaways ), flamenco dancer Iulia Manolescu… and live music, food, libations and lots of laughter.  Please bring your positive energy and your chequebook!  

We hope that you will help out this amazing man who has contributed so much to both the arts in Vancouver and to all of our lives as he fights the health battle of his life. 

If you are unable to attend the event, please watch the Chris Adkins Wellness Benefit Facebook page for news of the bank account we are planning to set up in his name so that you can donate directly to him. However, Chris would love to see as many of you as possible at the event.
