Volunteer for Arts Summit 2013
/Interested in being involved on the ground floor of the planning process toward a cultural policy for BC?
Register to volunteer at Arts Summit 2013, taking place Friday and Saturday, June 21 and 22, at the Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre. This two-day conference will feature keynote speakers, presentations, interactive breakout sessions, lunchtime entertainment, and a Friday evening networking reception.
Volunteers are needed to assist with:
- Registration
- Hospitality
- Food and beverage
- Set-up and strike
- Communications between breakout groups and graphic recorder
- Social media
- Photography
- General assistance for staff and coordinators
- Exhibition assistant
- Pre-Summit preparation
A minimum commitment of hours (to be discussed) will reward each volunteer with full Summit registration, enabling them to attend and participate in all Summit activities when not on duty.
We request that all volunteers attend an orientation session prior to the event.
