Studio Space Rental Opportunity

Opening in October 2012, Emily Carr University of Art + Design will have a studio space available for rent monthly (and starting January 2012 available to rent by 3 month term). This studio space will be available for rent by the general public and artistic community in Vancouver. The space will be resourced with a variety of tools such as light tables, easels, photo documentation station and will be supported by technicians who will be available to help within the studio space.

Names are currently being accepted on a waitlist and registration will be fully opened on September 15th. First registration offers will be made to those who have subscribed to the waitlist before September 15th.

This is a great opportunity for artists and creatives working in the Vancouver area to have affordable and innovative space in which to work, meet other artists and join in on the Emily Carr community.

An Open House will be held for members of the public on September 15 from 1 - 4 p.m. This Open House will give people the opportunity to view the Leeway, find out important information about the space and meet the Head Technician, who will be on hand to answer any questions. General information lectures about the Leeway will take place every hour. Customers will be required to fill out an application form and provide payment information to secure their Leeway membership.
