A special announcement from the Vancouver International Children's Fest

Elvie, as the Festival Director, was the glue that held the Children's Festival together for over 23 years and will be greatly missed by those who had the privilege of working with her. She dedicated herself to the thousands of children who attended the Festival and no task was too great. Elvie was the living memory of the Festival bringing wisdom, enthusiasm and passion to her work on a daily basis. 

A memorial for Elvie will be held on Monday July 2nd at 11am at the Peace Mennonite Church 1157 Daniels Road, Richmond.
