NEWS: Outgames Seeks Arts Group Participation

The Vancouver 2011 Outgames, Cultural Celebrations Committee is inviting the arts community to a meeting to discuss events that could become part of the Vancouver 2011 Outgames, which will take place July 20, and August 3, 2011.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at the corporate boardroom at 2101- 1177 West Hastings Street (one block east of Thurlow on Hastings) from 4 p.m. to 5:30.p.m.

The Vancouver 2011 Outgames Cultural Celebrations Committee is hoping to include existing events into the overall cultural experience, and to encourage the creation of new events to enhance the experience of the anticipated 3,500 games participants and 100,000 spectators who will be enjoying Vancouver around Pride Week 2011.

Representatives from Vancouver arts organizations are welcome to participate, learn and ask questions at the up-coming committee meeting.
