The theme of this year's Making a Scene conference is THEATRE MATTERS… not only the matters surrounding theatre, but...more importantly, theatre DOES matter!!!

Headlining this year are 2 fabulous keynote speakers - George Thorn and Carey Perloff - not to mention our top-of-the-line Prologue & Epilogue workshop leaders who include the aforementioned individuals plus John Wright, Susan Hogan and Rohan D’Silva (teaching Bollywood dance, which we all know is the hottest dance in town!). We also have the always entertaining Janet Wright (Corner Gas) in a frank and open conversation with Jerry Wasserman as well as a number of panellists and breakout leaders who are icons in our community.

We have programmed topics that provide food for thought, great conversation and lots of personal and professional development. AND (can it get any better?) there’s also going to be a Murder Mystery to be solved over the course of the conference(!) as well as the return of the very popular DA KLUB - definitely the hottest social club in town!!!
