Live Performance Regulatory Review Open Houses
/In the Fall of 2009, Cultural Services launched a regulatory review on Live Performance Venues.
This multi-phase, multi-year review is intended to address key issues of outdated and incompatible by-laws affecting the arts, culture and creative sectors as well as improving knowledge and understanding of the regulations (please see January 2010 Council Report for full list of key issues and recommendations.
City staff have now completed the first of three phases of the Live Performance Review and on February 3 will be taking a report to Mayor and Council recommending Phase I Implementation.
Learn about the Review and share your comments and suggestions at two Live Performance Regulatory Review Open Houses:
- Monday, January 17 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Community Centre.
- Wednesday, January 19 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Salons at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.
