Join the Movement – Celebrate Culture Days September 28-30, 2012
/There are only three weeks left until Culture Days 2012, and momentum is building! The Culture Days movement has been steadily growing in British Columbia, with over 250 activities registered in 46 municipalities to date, and more are being added every day.
It’s not too late to register your event for Culture Days. If you have programming planned for the last weekend in September, use Culture Days as an opportunity to reach a new audience. It doesn’t have to be complicated. Visit culturedays.ca to register, and you will find an array of marketing and promotions tools and templates that you can use to help get the word out.
If 2012 is too soon to consider putting together an event for Culture Days; there are other ways for you to get involved. Take the time to attend events to see what other artists and organizations are doing, and start planning for next year. You can plan your Culture Days weekend at culturedays.ca, by location or type of event. The tools are at your fingertips.
Leading up to Culture Days, we’d like to encourage everyone to show the world why you love culture, at the CBC I ♥ Culture Gallery at cbc.ca/bc/culturedays. Post a photo of what culture means to you or culture in your community, and you could win a culture-themed prize pack. Help us spread the word by sharing the details through your favourite social media platform, email or word of mouth. You can also follow us on Twitter at @BCCultureDays, and join the conversation and ‘Like’ us on Facebook.
Culture Days is proud to partner with our provincial sponsors TELUS, the Government of British Columbia, Black Press, CBC, Metro News and MAXguide.
