Internship Opportunities

The Cultural Human Resources Council has launched the 2009-2010 Career Focus program and is seeking proposals from cultural organisations from across the country. The deadline for application is July 31st, 2009.

The Youth Internship Program (YIP) offered by the Cultural Human Resources Council, in partnership with Human Resources Development Canada (Career Focus) and the Department of Canadian Heritage (Building Careers in Heritage) has helped match cultural organisations and aspiring cultural workers for eight years. By supporting 4 to 12 months internships, the YIP provides opportunities for non-profit, public and for-profit arts and heritage organisations to hire emerging cultural workers, and for young people to obtain experience and develop new skills.
