Crazy8s 2014 Call for Film Pitch Submissions
/The Crazy8s Film Society has announced the launch of their 2014 season. Crazy8s is an 8-day filmmaking challenge that provides funding and support to emerging filmmakers to help them produce a short film.
Can you make a short film in 8 days? If you’ve had that story you’ve always wanted to tell, now is the time to pitch it! If your idea is selected as one of six winners, your short film will screen for an audience of over a thousand at a gala and at festivals and markets around the world.
Deadlines and Dates to Note:
- Info Session & Pitch Registration: 1-5 p.m. Sunday, October 20 at VIFF’s Vancity Theatre, 1181 Seymour St.
- Registration closes November 4, 2013
- Video pitches due November 10, 2013
- Filming mid February 2014
- Gala Screening & Party: March 1, 2014
