City of Vancouver 2014-15 Theatre Rental Grant Program Deadlines

Do you work for an established or emerging arts and culture organization that needs a well-equipped venue to produce a cultural event?

The Theatre Rental Grant program offers financial assistance to non-profit arts and cultural organizations to use the Vancouver Civic Theatres (Orpheum, Orpheum Annex, Vancouver Playhouse, and Queen Elizabeth Theatre). The program is intended to assist with artistic development, increasing profile and expanding audiences for organizations by providing access to well-equipped and centrally-located professional venues. 

Please note that there are two steps and two deadlines to submit a grant request to the City of Vancouver's 2014-15 Theatre Rental Grant Program. 

Deadlines

March 28, 2014 at 4:30 p.m.
Venue Booking Request form submitted to Peter Kendall, Booking Coordinator at Vancouver Civic Theatres. Contact him at 604.665.3028 or peter.kendall@vancouver.ca

April 17, 2014 at 4:30 p.m.
Theatre Rental Grant Application form submitted to Cultural Services (two copies required - one with original signatures and one copy) 

Timelines

These deadlines cover eligible activities happening during the season between September 1, 2014 and August 31, 2015.
