City Council & Park Board To Receive Reports on North East False Creek Plans

Your Alliance has been participating in a series of consultative roundtables as the City moves forward on plans for development of the Northeast False Creek (NEFC) area.
These plans include a number of options for public spaces and cultural amenities, and final staff reports will presented to Park Board and to City Council's Standing in the coming week. There are opportunities to address both Park Board and City Council at those times.
Park Board: The Vancouver Park Board will receive a staff report on Monday, October 19 on the proposed policies for the future development of Northeast False Creek. The report can be found here.
Delegations will be able to speak to the Board. To register to speak to the Board, please contact Julie Casanova at 604-257-8451 by 12 noon on October 19, 2009.
The meeting starts at 7 pm and will be held at the West Point Grey Community Centre (4397 West 2nd Avenue). The agenda for the meeting can be found here.

Planning and Environment will consider the proposed policies for the future development of Northeast False Creek. Delegations will be able to speak to Council prior to a decision.
To register to speak to Council call Terri Burke at 604.871.6399 or Cobi Falconer at 604-871-6371, by 1 pm on Wednesday, October 21. Please note that speakers are requested to limit their comments to no longer than five minutes.
The meeting begins at 2 pm and will be held in the Council Chamber (Third Floor, 453 West 12th Avenue).
