Canadian Aboriginal Writing & Arts Challenge

The Historica-Dominion Institute invites youth (ages 14 to 29) of Aboriginal descent (Status, Non-Status, Inuit and Métis) to create a short piece of writing or two-dimensional piece of art for a chance to win up to a $2,000 and a trip to a major Canadian city to be honoured at the Awards Reception & Exhibition. Group entries are eligible for additional prizes! Submissions are assessed by a group of esteemed Aboriginal authors and artists, including Joseph Boyden, Drew Hayden Taylor, Maxine Noel and Kent Monkman.
