Call for Presentations for ArtsBC's 2014 Conference
/ArtsBC has issued a call for presentations for its 2014 conference, May 2-4, on Bowen Island.
The conference brings together representatives from community and regional arts councils, other arts and culture organizations and individuals engaged in arts based community development. The conference program offers professional development workshops, information sessions, panel discussions on a range of topics and issues relating to the practices of community arts organizations, as well as social and networking opportunities.
Through this Call for Presentations, ArtsBC invites members and non-members to submit presentation ideas based on the theme of ‘engagement’. This broad based theme allows for a wide variety programming that is responsive to the needs of members and delegates. We welcome all proposals but priority will be given to those relevant to the conference theme. Submitters do not need to be members of ArtsBC.
Presentations may be in the form of workshops, panel sessions, peer-to-peer learning sessions, as well as other formats. Presentations may include strategies, frameworks, principals, examples, best practices, methodologies, or processes for engagement.
More information and theme ideas are available to download here (PDF).
