Arts Summit 2013 - New Speaker Announcement

BC's arts, culture, and heritage community leaders will gather at Arts Summit 2013 for two days of brainstorming and visioning as we take the first steps towards developing a comprehensive and sustainable cultural framework for our province.

One of the architects of New Brunswick’s successful cultural policy initiative in 2002, and a participant in the current policy renewal process, Richard Hornsby will join us at the Summit to share the lessons learned during the New Brunswick experience and help us apply those to our current project.

For more information on Richard Hornsby and on other speakers at Arts Summit 2013, please visit http://artssummit.ca/program.

Tell us what you'd like a BC cultural policy framework to address / include by sharing your comments on the cultural policy wish list. We've listed some suggestions and invite you to share your ideas.

The Summit takes place June 21 and 22, 2013 at the Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre in Vancouver. Early bird registration is available until May 15 - get your tickets now

A sliding-scale registration fee is available upon request for those on limited incomes. Inquire at communications@allianceforarts.com.
