Alliance Marketing Council Convenes February 24

After a year-long hiatus, the Alliance Marketing Council is back!

The Alliance Marketing Council brings professionals in the arts marketing field in Vancouver together three times each year for learning and networking. It has sprung up out of The Alliance for Arts and Culture, but is not limited to marketing professionals from the Alliance's membership. Anyone who is a cultural marketing professional in Metro Vancouver is invited to attend, and that means you!

Our first meeting of 2011 will take place Thursday, February 24, 9:30 - 1ish at The Improv Centre, 1502 Duranleau Street, at the entrance to Granville Island, across from the Kids Only Market.

From 9:30 - 10, we will have networking and introductions, then from 10 - 10:30 there will be a presentation by Ling Chan of the Vancouver Opera, on some new and cutting-edge marketing techniques they are employing to get people in the door. 

That will be followed by a Q & A.

From 11 - 12, we would like to discuss your needs: how can the Alliance Marketing Council help you, and we would like to give you the opportunity to present your marketing challenges to the group to see if we can come up with some solutions.
