Bidding a Fond Farewell to Joyce Wan

We’re simultaneously thrilled and heartbroken to announce that Joyce Wan, our administrative coordinator of the past five years, is leaving the BC Alliance to take on a new communications position with the Vancouver Writers Fest. We wish Joyce all the best in the new role, and congratulate the Writers Fest on such a fine acquisition.

During her time at the Alliance, Joyce has contributed more than can be adequately expressed in words. She’s done invaluable work for the membership. She’s been a linchpin in our communications. She’s been critical in the implementation of projects like Digital Ladders and the Artist Brigade, among so many others. Her heart is kind. She is always thoughtful and supportive. She’s a diamond.

Joyce will be out of office June 24-30, and her last day with the Alliance is Friday, July 9. Please feel free to reach out to Joyce at joyce@allianceforarts.com and let her know how much you’ll miss her, and wish her all the best as she departs for exciting new horizons.
