HCMA Opens Applications for Artists in Residence Program

The following is partially excerpted from a release issued by HCMA.

HCMA’s Artists in Residence (AIR) program is now open for applications. HCMA is looking for wildly courageous artists who are asking provocative questions to explore new territories with us and with their medium. This year’s theme is Transient Repositories. 

For ten weeks you’ll be invited in to respond to the theme and bring your project into the office. HCMA offers in-office space for you to work on your project, and opportunities for collaboration with its transdisciplinary staff teams. 

You’ll also receive an artist fee of $3500 CAD and a project materials budget of $1500 CAD.
