Federal Government Launches Pre-Budget Consultations

The federal government has launched a series of consultations called Let’s Talk Budget 2021. The consultations run from January 25-February 19 and include a series of virtual ministerial roundtables.

These pre-budget consultations are an opportunity for Canadians from across the country to share their ideas and priorities for how the government can make investments to grow the economy. Says the webpage, “We want to hear your very best ideas on how to create new jobs and build a greener, more competitive, more innovative, more inclusive, more resilient Canada.”
