Artists: Be a Part of the Vancouver Hub for BC Culture Days

BC Culture Days  will be working with its exclusive media partner, CBC Vancouver, to host Vancouver's very own Culture Days festival hub (September 28 & 29, 2019). Vancouver-based artists and arts groups are invited to apply to be a part of the 2019 programming for Culture Days at the CBC Vancouver Plaza and Studio 700. Produced by BC Culture Days through the Society to Bridge Arts and Community, Culture Days at CBC Vancouver will host free arts and cultural activities by self-producing artists and arts groups in a celebration of local arts, culture and heritage. Successful applicants will be provided with free space and basic technical support. A limited number of paid opportunities are also available for professional artists and arts groups. The CBC Vancouver Plaza  and Studio 700 are located at 700 Hamilton Street.

Eligible activities include:

  • Performances

  • Workshops

  • Artist talks

  • Collaborative art projects

  • Artist demos

Artists from Indigenous, Immigrant, LGBTQ, and differently-abled communities are encouraged to apply.

To be considered for this opportunity, please complete the online application form

Applications will be juried by the BC Culture Days Steering Committee and all applicants will be notified of  results before July 15, 2019.
