Grant Writing Success

Writing a successful grant application can be a challenge – both for long-time applicants, as well as newcomers to the process. We're excited to offer a suite of workshops to help your grant stand out from the crowd. On October 3, Mary Ann Anderson of Little Dog Creative Consulting offers Grant Writing 101, a foundational workshop, followed by a pair of two-session clinics, Grant Writing for Individuals (October 10 and 18) and Grant Writing for Organizations (October 23 and November 1). Register for more than one workshop to get a discounted rate. Check out our Workshops page for more information.

Financial Management

Finance and arts administration whiz Linda Gorrie presents a pair of workshops to help you manage your organization's wallet. On November 8, learn the fundamentals at Basics of Finance for Arts and Culture Organizations. On November 22, Linda leads participants in a comprehensive look at how to develop and implement Financial Strategy for Arts and Culture Organizations. Register for both at a 20% discount.

Digital Marketing for Arts: Facebook + Instagram Advertising

In a follow-up to last spring's popular workshop, digital arts marketer Brian Paterson sheds more light on the diverse world of online marketing with Digital Marketing for Arts: Facebook + Instagram Advertising, November 28. Learn the best strategies to hype your event or initiative using these critical digital platforms.

Digital Ladders Info Sessions

Lastly, we're offering a pair of free information sessions on ways you can participate in our far-reaching digital literacy initiative, Digital Ladders. Attend one of two free info sessions (October 16 and November 20) with Nudge Consulting president Sue Biely and digital expert Robert Ouimet. Sue and Robert will explain the program and its structure, introduce the lead facilitators and program designers, review application forms, selection processes and key dates, and answer any questions you may have about this innovative initiative.

As always, BC Alliance members access all of our workshops at a special discounted rate. For full details on our Fall Workshops, including dates, times, rates and registration, visit our Workshops page.
