LEADING THE WAY ON ARTS ADVOCACY
This workshop will give you the confidence to become an effective arts advocate in your community. We will examine what it means to be an artist, the importance of inclusivity and the need for a deeper understanding of creativity and the role it plays in the formation of our identity. Participants will learn how to develop their own advocacy “elevator pitch” and work with decision makers to keep them informed about the value of arts, culture and heritage in their own lives and in the lives of their constituents.
