Final Weeks to Register for Actsafe Safety Conference

The Actsafe Safety Conference takes place February 20 - 22 in at the Delta Burnaby Hotel & Conference Centre in Burnaby, BC. The conference hopes to provide important connections between everyone that provides support to the event industry, including event production suppliers, festivals, theatres and roadhouses, as well as municipalities, education providers, and labour unions.

FREE OFA LEVEL 1 CLASS AND PERFORMING ARTS SAFETY WORKSHOP

Register for your full conference pass and you're eligible for a free Occupational First Aid Level One course. The course runs February 22.

Those who register for the full conference pass are also eligible for a four-hour Performing Arts Safety Orientation workshop. Designed with the entry level worker in mind, the workshops provides attendees with knowledge of basic safety procedures, hazard identification and controls, worker's rights and the responsibilities of employers, supervisors and workers.
