First Peoples' Cultural Council Seeks Applicants for Advisory Committee
/The following information is excerpted from a call issued by the First Peoples' Cultural Council.
The First Peoples' Cultural Council has invited applications from BC First Nations applicants to serve on their Advisory Committee. The Advisory is made up of representatives from each of BC’s 34 Indigenous languages.
Advisory Committee members are volunteers who act as a bridge between First Nations communities and FPCC by bringing ideas, advice and issues to the attention of the Board of Directors.
As a member of the Advisory, your advice will help to guide FPCC in tailoring its programs and delivery to better serve First Nations individuals and communities.
Who Should Apply?
If you are a member of a BC First Nation and have a demonstrated commitment to your community as a champion of language, heritage, arts or culture, you are an ideal applicant.
