Cultural Human Resources Council Conducts Survey on Not-for-Profit Arts Salaries

The Cultural Human Resources Council (CHRC) has released a survey to gauge the compensation practices of not-for-profit arts organizations.

"CHRC is pleased to be undertaking this important research into current compensation data that is critical for recruitment, retention and human resource planning in the cultural sector," says the introduction to the questionnaire. "The study collects data on base salary, short-term incentive pay, employee benefits and perquisites, as well as a number of other topics, including various key human resources challenges. It is being funded by the Department of Canadian Heritage and the Canada Council for the Arts."

The questionnaire can be downloaded here, and should be emailed upon completion to Mercer Canada, whose contact is included. The deadline for completing the survey is November 30. For more information, check out CHRC's FAQ.
