Call for Musicians: Rogers Hometown Hockey Tour

Season 4 of the Rogers Hometown Hockey Tour will roll into 24 communities across Canada this season with a weekend of free outdoor hockey festivities for all ages. Each tour stop is full of activities, prizes, giveaways and great live music from local bands all culminating in an outdoor viewing party of an NHL game broadcast live every Sunday on Sportsnet and Sportsnet NOW. Ron MacLean and Tara Slone host live on site from the Sportsnet Mobile Studio.
The Tour is seeking musicians in each community to apply via the Music BC website for the opportunity to perform at this year’s Hometown Hockey festival celebrations taking place throughout BC this winter. Artists from nearby communities are encouraged to apply.
The communities and dates include:
- Surrey: December 9-10, 2016
- Williams Lake: January 6-7, 2017
- Kamloops: January 13-14, 2017
- Cowichan Valley: January 20-21, 2017
