musica intima Welcomes Bob D'Eith as General Manager
/Non-profit leader, lawyer, musician and publisher Bob D'Eith has been named general manager of musica intima, the internationally renowned contemporary choral ensemble.
D'Eith brings to the role decades of experience in BC's music industry, having recently spent 14 years at the helm of Music BC Industry Association. During his tenure, Music BC administered the award-winning Peak Performance Project, which supports emerging artists in Western Canada.
His commitment and dedication to the music industry have led him to serve on the boards of the Canadian Independent Music Association (CIMA), and the Canadian Council of Music Industry Associations (CCMIA). He also served on the National Advisory Board for The Foundation Assisting Canadian Talent on Recordings (FACTOR) Society for many years, and was instrumental in bringing the 2009 JUNO Awards to Vancouver, serving as the executive chair of the Host Committee.
In addition to leadership roles key music organizations, D'Eith maintains a law practice in the entertainment sector, is the founder of the music label Adagio Media, and is the publisher of music and books. A musician and songwriter himself, D'Eith has been nominated for two JUNO Awards (Rymes with Orange and Mythos)
D'Eith joined the organization effective September 15, 2016, taking over the role from interim general manager Meaghan Williams.
