Arts Council of the North Okanagan Announces New Executive Director Richard Kerton

The Arts Council of the North Okanagan (ACNO) has announced Richard Kerton as its new executive director.

The ACNO is a non-profit organization which seeks to stimulate, encourage, support and develop the varied artistic and cultural activities in the Greater Vernon area.

“We are very pleased to welcome Richard to ACNO. His breadth of knowledge and passion for the arts will have apositive impact on our community,” said ACNO board chair Amanda Shatzk. “With the newly adopted arts and culture plan for Greater Vernon, we look forward to strengthening our ability to serve all levels and disciplines in the arts.”

Kerton will begin his duties later in August.
